Geoff Hayward
We have a server application that creates virtual channels using the VCSDK. This has worked for many (> 10) years but with Virtual Apps and Desktops v 2207 the setting up of the virtual channel (WFVirtualChannelOpen) fails with the error ACCESS_DENIED. Tried compiling and using the examples from the SDK and get the same issue. What has changed in 2207 to cause this error?
Geoff Hayward
To answer my own question, should anyone else encounter the issue:https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-virtual-apps-desktops/policies/reference/ica-policy-settings/virtual-channel-allow-list-policy-settings.htmlThe important point is that the default behaviour was changed, "Starting with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 2109, virtual channel allow lists are enabled by default."
