I get this error "Memory limit reached for maximum files to be packaged in a single backup file." when do full backup on VPX (13.1.42.47). That VPX have 6 admin partition. If I delete one of admin partition then error disappeared. What this 'limit' is and how I can change it?

NetScaler supports upto 5 partitions, excluding the default partition while creating system backup file (FULL), subject to disk space availability. Today you can change the limit. We did get request from multiple customers to increase the limit and we are looking into it.

One of my VPX has 12 admin partitions, not counting the default one. I can say with confidence that this error is NOT present on the release NS13.1: Build 12.51.nc with the same amount of free disk space while creating system backup file (FULL), as it was not before. And after the update it to subsequent releases, for example NS13.1: Build 27.59.nc, this error appeared and is now present on the current release.

Thanks for providing further details on this error.

No change has been done to Backup and Restore functionality in 13.1. We will check the above mentioned behavior and update you.

The team has fixed an issue, that was restricting the backup to add more than 5 partitions. This fix will be available in upcoming release (most likely 13.1-48.x).
