Devin Fisher
I have a couple old VPX installations that have NS11.0 65.31.nc and I want to get them up to 13.1 eventually. Since 11.1 and 12.0 aren't available anymore, should I be able to move up to 12.1?
Arvind Kandula
Do you mean 13.1? 12.1 is going EOL end of this month. For guidance on upgrade you can refer to this link https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX549397/how-to-upgrade-citrix-adc-stepbystep . Devin Fisher
Hi Arvind,The goal is 13.1, but there is a supported upgrade path to 13.1 (12.1 - 13.0 - 13.1). There are no binaries for 11.0 - 11.1 - 12.0 - 12.1 from what I understand, so that is the part that makes me uncomfortable.
Arvind Kandula
Hi Devin, As you are on an EOL version situation has become complex. Current possibility is to go to 12.1 and then to later versions if you plan before 12.1 EOL, later to that it might become much more complex. Please do check the release notes and see if any of your configuration would need change post upgrade.
Terry Hooper
Hi, I would also recommend reviewing the VPX compatibility matrix to ensure that the underlying infrastructure is also supported ref: https://docs.netscaler.com/en-us/citrix-adc/current-release/deploying-vpx/supported-hypervisors-features-limitations.html.
